Announces Championship Tournament Site for 2009

          Southern Anglers Challenge Competitive Fishing Circuits, LLC is pleased to announce that the year end Championship Tournament site for 2009 will be beautiful Lake Guntersville in Guntersville, Alabama, to be held on Friday October 30th and Saturday October 31, 2009.    The Tournament site and Tournament Headquarters will be Lake Guntersville State Park Campground, Hwy. 227, Guntersville, Alabama.  You may contact the State Park at 256.571.5455 or 800.548.4553.

PRE-TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION AND DINNER MEETING:  Thursday October 29, 2009.  Registration begins at 3:00PM and Dinner will be served at 6:00PM at the Lake Guntersville State Park Campground Pavilion.

 

COMPETITION DATES:  Friday October 30th and Saturday October 31, 2009

HOTEL RATES:  Make sure when making your Hotel reservations that you tell them you are fishing the Southern Anglers Challenge Championship for your special room rates.

 

TOURNAMENT FEES:          $150.00.  This will cover the Tournament fees, Big Bass fees for two days, and dinner for two people.  Additional dinners may be purchased the evening of the pre-registration meeting for $15.00 each.

 

PAYOUT:  $15,000.00 guaranteed to First Place.  100% of tournament fees to remaining paying places.  Big Bass pay out each day.  Based on a seventy-five boat field, the total pay out will be $24,000.00.   Sponsor prizes will be awarded at the Tournament Registration Meeting.

 

REGISTRATION:  Qualified Teams need to send in a completed registration form with entry fees prior to October 1, 2009.  Late registration will be taken up to pre-tournament meeting time.  All registered Teams will be assigned their take off position  number by random draw.  Take off positions will be inverted the second day of the tournament. 

 PRE-REGISTRATIONS SHOULD BE RECEIVED BY OCTOBER 1, 2009.  HOWEVER, LATE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THE PRE-TOURNAMENT MEETING OCTOBER 29, 2009.

PRE-TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION AND MEETING:  Pre-Tournament registration and check-in will be held from 3:00pm to 6:00pm on Thursday October 29, 2009 at Lake Guntersville State Park Campground, Hwy. 227, Guntersville, Alabama.  The mandatory pre-tournament meeting will start at 6:30pm.  

 

DINNER:  Dinner will be catered by “Garner Barbeque Company” of Guntersville, Alabama, Thursday October 29, 2009 at the pre-registration meeting.  Dinner will be served at 6:00pm. The menu will consist of Barbeque Pork, Barbeque Chicken, Potato Salad, Creamy Slaw/BBQ Slaw, Creole Black Eye Peas, Banana Pudding, Rolls, and Tea.

FISHING LICENSES:  Make sure you purchase your Alabama State Fishing License before fishing on Lake Guntersville.  The Alabama DNR is more strict than some other states on checking for licenses.  You may purchase your Alabama     license online at:  www.outdooralabama.com/licenses/.
